Marie was born July 22, 1917, in Brownsville, MN, daughter of John W. and Mary C. (Fox) Ryan.

Marie married Irvin J. Hutter on June 23, 1936, at St. Mary's Church in Dubuque, Iowa. He preceded her in death on November 30, 2003 She was formerly employed at General Dry Battery for 20 years and at Trenkles Meat Market for 15 years. Marie was lastly employed in housekeeping for Dubuque Bank and Trust for over 10 years. She was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Rosary Society. Marie was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed being a homemaker. She especially loved time spent with her son and granddaughters.

many nieces and nephews

Marie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Irvin, 2 sisters Margaret Lyons and Lucille Kramer and a brother John Ryan.
