Date/Place of Birth: Carl was born on November 5, 1933, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Theodore and Mary (Lillie) Peterson.
Brief personal history: Carl served in the US Marine Corps in 1952 during the Korean Conflict. He married Pat Ackerman on May 12, 1960 in Illinois. He was employed at Wayne Anthony Motors, the Oldsmobile Garage, Whalen Body Shop and lastly at Valentine Brothers Body Shop. After his retirement Carl worked at the Blind Society and Goodwill Industries. In his spare time Carl enjoyed hunting, fishing and making balsa wood airplanes. He was well known for his stinging hand shake and pulling his grandchildrens' teeth.
