Timothy J. "Timmy" Duve, age 42, of 310 Edith Street, passed away at 10:30 p.m., Friday, May 3, 2013, at Unity Point Finley Hospital. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street with Deacon David McGhee officiating. To celebrate Timmy's life friends may visit from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 6, 2013, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street. Burial will be in St. Andrew Cemetery, Tennyson, WI, where military rites will be accorded by the Marine Corps League.
Timmy was born on December 9, 1970, in Dubuque, IA, son of David A. "Bud" and Donna (Moore) Duve Sr.
Timmy attended school at Sageville, Jefferson and Hempstead in Dubuque. He also attended NICC for 2 years. Timmy served in the U.S. Army during the first Gulf War in Saudi Arabia, Germany and Fort Polk, LA. He worked construction most of his life. Timmy married Lori A. Dee on May 15, 1999, in Dubuque. In his spare time he loved to go fishing, riding his motorcycle, playing horseshoes, boating and woodworking. Timmy's family and his children and grandchildren were very important to him. He enjoyed spending time with his brothers and sisters.

A Timothy J. Duve memorial fund has been established.
Timmy's family would like to thank Dr. Hermann, his nurse Sara Kohn and the entire staff of Wendt Regional Cancer Center at Unity Point Finley Hospital.
