Sister Marion Pasdiora, BVM (Jean Victor), age 89, of Caritas Center, 1130 Carmel Drive, was called home peacefully on November 24, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center, Dubuque. To honor Sister Marion Pasdiora's life, a funeral liturgy will be held in the Marian Hall Chapel on Wednesday, November 29, 2017, following a Sharing of Memories which will occur between 9:00 a.m. until 10:15 a.m. Burial will be in the Mount Carmel Cemetery. Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, is in charge of arrangements.

Sr. Marion was born on August 29, 1928, in Chicago, Illinois, daughter of Victor and Barbara (Bouland) Pasdiora.

Sr. Marion entered the BVM congregation on September 8, 1947, from St. Andrew's Parish, Chicago. She faithfully professed her first vows on March 19, 1950; and her final vows on August 15, 1955.

Sr. Marion began her years of service as an elementary teacher in Boone, Iowa, before moving onto Lead, South Dakota, and Wilmot, Wisconsin to complete her years with the younger students. She would next move into the secondary school level, where she joyfully taught business classes in both Sioux City and Fort Dodge, Iowa, and also in Chicago, Illinois. Sr. Marion was also generous with her talents as she worked as the bursar/treasurer, business manager, university secretary and assistant sacristan in Mundelein, Illinois. Sr. Marion's years of service were abundantly full and she graciously impacted many lives along her earthly journey.

Those left to cherish Sr. Marion Pasdiora's memory include

her nieces and nephews;

and her fellow Sisters of Charity, BVM, with whom she shared her life for 70 years.

Sr. Marion was preceded in death by her parents; and 5 brothers, Victor, Raymond, Robert, Lawrence and Edward, Sr.
