Heart Emblem

Noah L. Zerbee, a precious 4 month old baby boy from Dubuque, was called home suddenly at 9:34 a.m., on Thursday, December 14, 2017, at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, surrounded by his loving family. To celebrate Noah's life, private family services were held at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, Dubuque, Iowa.

Noah was born on August 2, 2017, in Dubuque, Iowa, son of Tyler Zerbee and Emmaretta Brockmeyer.

How do we begin to put into words the life of our baby boy Noah? To say that he brightened every room which adorned his presence is an understatement. To consider the positive impact he had on the world is now undeniable. To feel his sweet little hand tug on you was instantaneously inspiring. To hear his tiny breaths in your ear would fill your heart with a peace and love which can only be found in such innocence. To smell his pure essence after his daily bath was to know true serenity in a physical form. To see him smile at you with such an unconditional love in his eyes was to know Heaven on earth for a moment. But, to have to face the days ahead knowing that our precious Noah has been called home from his earthly journey much too soon is more than any human heart should have to bear. The love and joy he shared in his 4 short months will sadly have to try to fill the rest of our lifetimes and we humbly ache at the mere thought of even having to try to complete that task. Noah, we love you more than words could ever express, we'll miss you more than our minds can comprehend, but we know, and trust, that you're safe in Heaven now and will be joyfully celebrating Christmas with the real Baby Jesus this year. Farewell for now our sweet baby Noah!
