Love Emblem

Nancy Ann Schneider, age 75, of Dubuque, was called home peacefully at 12:45 a.m., on Monday, May 8, 2017, at home, surrounded by her loving family. To honor Nancy's life, funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, at Behr Funeral Home, 1491 Main Street, with Pastor Jack Redmond officiating. To celebrate Nancy's life, family and friends may visit from 9:00 a.m. until the time of services at 12:00 p.m., on Wednesday, at Behr Funeral Home. Burial will be in Dubuque Memorial Gardens.

Nancy was born on January 27, 1942, in Dubuque, daughter of Theodore and Delores (Eichenburg) Olds.

Nancy was born and raised in Dubuque and would spend many years working at the Mitten Factory, Hotel Julien, Loras College, Mercy and Finley Hospitals and finally at McDonald's. Nancy was strong in her faith and would definitely walk her spiritual path with a confidence and a hope for a better tomorrow and a perfect eternity. She has sadly played her last Euchre hand with her loved ones today and is now resting safely and securely in her Heavenly Estate.

Those left to cherish Nancy's memory include

her husband,
Richard Schneider, Dubuque, IA;

her 2 children,
Larry Latham, Wisconsin
and Lora (Daniel) Latham-Tracy, Sherrill, IA;

her 6 grandchildren,
Molly (Tony) Summer, Matthew Timmerman, Michael Timmerman, Loni Latham, Heather Latham and Rebecca Latham;

and her sister,
Eva (Frank) Schneider, Dubuque, IA.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents.

A Nancy Ann Schneider memorial fund has been established, which will be distributed among her favorite charities.

Nancy's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Mercy Hospital, and Holly from Hospice, for all of their wonderful care of Nancy and her family.
