Remembering jean as a kind, sincere lady who was always pleasant to be around with a smile on her face.

Mrs. Hufnagel (that's how I was taught to address the parents of my friends) was always welcoming whenever I would bring Margie home from college. She would invite me in and make sure that I had something to eat or drink before I continued my journey home. I knew that if I was ever stranded in Dubuque, I had a place to stay and I'm sure she would have cared for me as she cared for her own family. She had a great smile and sense of humor and you could see how proud she was of Margie. She loved having her family come home and the joy was evident in her eyes whenever we walked through the door. She taught her children well, as I couldn't have asked for a more caring and sweet and happy roommate. We are sorry this day has come, and pray that the many memories you have will help to ease your heavy hearts. Kathy and Tim Post
