My friendship with Jim goes way back to when we were kids at St. John's. We were in the same confirmation class and Sunday School classes. I'll miss seeing him usher when I come to church when I am in Dubuque.
All the best to you and your family Pat. May God grant you peace.

To the entire Cocayne family,

We are in northern Wisconsin and just heard of Jim's passing. You all have our sincere sympathy. We both remember many good times with Jim, especially in softball. He was always very eager to bowl and play ball. He was a good friend and we will miss him.

Jim was a great Euchre player and he was loved and enjoyed by all who played with him online. It was my privilege to be his card partner for over ten years. During that time I learned about how much he loved his wife and kids. He led a full life with Pat and never stopped talking about how much she meant to him. He had such a quick wit that I enjoyed each time we played euchre. I feel
