Dorothy, James and I are so sorry to hear about Boneys passing. I will always treasure the friendship that we had. I loved it when he would come down to farmer's market and let me know how many miles he'd walked and how many miles he rode his bike that already that morning or bring James the new quarters as they came out. Or when he would come up to our booth saying something about bringing "this stranger" down. And

There is no one that could ever fill the shoes of Boney. Such a simple man that loved his wife and daughter so biblically. Boney did not need or want material things to make him happy. Helping other people made him happy. He always made sure the Westhoff kids had clean and good running cars. He so graciously treated us like one of his own. Rest In Peace Boney!!! You are home with the Lord and our paths will cross again someday.

I am so sorry to hear of Boneys passing. He will be missed. I think some of my shoulder aches are due partially from all the bear hugs I got from him. Again, my condolences. ❤

I was a laborer @ the Pack in the late 70s thru the late 90s. I met alot of great people there. For 20 years Boney and I have held a tradition that every time I was back in DBQ we'd get together for a visit over coffee, usually at his house. He'd usually send me back to Texas with a new deck of cards, or a handy white utility bucket, or sometimes a hat from his hat collection. I appreciated Boney's friendship and will miss the candid opinions he so willingly shared. Our hearts go out Dorothy, Beth and Darin and the entire Bohnsack family as we mourn their loss with them. RIP Boney.

Boney was an awesome neighbor always had a friendly smile and a wave when I drove by. And was always eager to bring me tomotoes in the summer. He will be missed. Hugs thoughts and prayers.
